How to sync email settings between your PC and phone
Setting up the same signatures, rules and contacts on every device is tedious. NotiSpark Sync does it for you, and it is end-to-end encrypted, so only your own devices can read your data. Here is how to set it up.
What you need
A NotiSpark account on Pro or Business (or in the free trial) and NotiSpark on each device. Your email passwords are never synced, so keep them handy for the new device, or use your own backup file.
Turn on NotiSpark Sync
Do this once, on the device that has your settings set up the way you like.
- Open NotiSpark and go to Settings → NotiSpark Sync.
- Switch on NotiSpark Sync.
- Save your one-time recovery code somewhere safe, such as a password manager.
Add your phone or another computer
The new device has to be approved by you, so nobody else can join.
- Install NotiSpark on the new device and sign in.
- Open Settings → NotiSpark Sync and turn on sync.
- On a device you already use, check that the 6-digit code matches and approve the new device.
- Enter each email password once on the new device. Your signatures, rules, contacts and calendar appear.
Keep it safe
Your data is locked on your device before it leaves, and NotiSpark cannot read it. That also means a lost recovery code cannot be replaced. If you lose it and every device, the synced copy cannot be recovered.
