Encrypted email

Encrypted email, made simple

Some emails are meant for one person only. NotiSpark opens encrypted mail for free, and on Pro and Business you can sign and encrypt the mail you send, with S/MIME or OpenPGP. Your keys stay on your devices, not on our server.

Read encrypted mail free, on every plan

When someone sends you an encrypted email, NotiSpark opens it for you. It also shows when an email is signed, so you know it really came from that sender.

  • Works with S/MIME and OpenPGP, the two common ways to encrypt email
  • Shows whether a signature checks out
  • Included in Free

Sign and encrypt on Pro and Business

Lock an email so only the people you send it to can read it, or sign it so they know it’s really from you.

  • Encrypt an email so only the people you send it to can open it
  • Sign an email so people know it came from you and wasn’t changed on the way
  • Works with people who use other email apps
  • Included in Pro, Business and your free trial

Your keys stay with you

Your keys are kept on your own devices. Want them on your other devices too? NotiSpark Sync shares them end-to-end encrypted and double-locked with your backup passphrase, so our server can’t read them.

  • Your keys stay on your devices
  • Sharing between your devices is end-to-end encrypted and double-locked with your backup passphrase
  • Your email never passes through our servers

Questions

Do I have to pay to read encrypted email?

No. Reading encrypted email and checking signatures is free on every plan. Signing and encrypting the mail you send comes with Pro and Business, and with your free trial.

S/MIME or OpenPGP: which one do I need?

Use the one the people you write to use. S/MIME is common at companies; OpenPGP is popular with people who care a lot about privacy. NotiSpark works with both.

Can NotiSpark read my encrypted email?

No. Your email never passes through our servers, and your keys stay on your devices. When you share keys between your own devices, they are end-to-end encrypted and locked with your backup passphrase, so we can’t read them.

What if my plan ends?

You can still read all your encrypted email. Only signing and encrypting new emails stops until you upgrade again.
