Install NotiSpark on Android
NotiSpark for Android is in a closed beta on Google Play before its public launch. Join the beta to install it: every feature is free during the beta.
Closed beta on Google Play
The Android app comes only through Google Play. While it is in beta, join the beta group with the Google account on your phone, then install NotiSpark from Google Play. It runs on Android 8 and newer.
The beta page shows both steps. Please keep the app for at least 14 days: Google requires this before NotiSpark can launch publicly.
Get new mail straight away
Android saves battery by pausing apps in the background, which can delay new-mail alerts.
For instant alerts: Android Settings → Apps → NotiSpark → Battery → Unrestricted. In NotiSpark: Settings → Notifications & Alerts → choose the instant mode.
Animated alerts over other apps
To see the animated new-mail alerts while you use other apps, allow “Show over other apps” when NotiSpark asks (Settings → Notifications & Alerts → Animated Alerts). Some phones (Xiaomi, OPPO, Huawei and others) have an extra “pop-up windows” permission: NotiSpark shows a button for it.
Updates
Google Play keeps NotiSpark up to date on your phone. Your mail and settings stay.
