Private AI and the NVIDIA speed-up
NotiSpark's AI runs on your own computer: your email never goes to an AI company. It sorts spam, summarizes, suggests replies and helps you write (Pro and Business).
Turn it on
- Settings → AI → turn the AI on.
- Choose a model. NotiSpark recommends one that fits your computer; smaller models are faster, bigger ones write better.
- Click Download AI model. It is downloaded once (3 to 22 GB depending on the model) and then works offline.
Your graphics card
The AI is fastest on a graphics card. “Run the model on: Automatic” picks the best one: NVIDIA, AMD and Intel cards work through Vulkan, and without a graphics card the AI runs on the processor (slower, but it works).
Settings → AI shows which card is used and how much memory it has.
NVIDIA speed-up
On NVIDIA cards the AI can be faster with NVIDIA's own engine (CUDA). It isn't in the installer, to keep the download small. When NotiSpark finds an NVIDIA card, Settings → AI shows “NVIDIA speed-up” with a Download button (about 550 to 730 MB, once).
NotiSpark picks the right version for your card and driver. If your NVIDIA driver is too old, it says so: update it from nvidia.com and check again. Remove frees the space at any time; the AI then uses Vulkan again.
