Channel rules
Last updated 2 November 2026
Channels let one person or a small team share posts with many followers. These rules keep channels friendly and safe for everyone. They apply to every channel, in the app and on the web.
Channels are public
Anyone can read a public channel’s posts, in the app and on the web. Channel posts aren’t encrypted like your chats, so never post anything private: no passwords, home addresses, phone numbers or other people’s personal details.
Followers stay private. Nobody can see who follows a channel. The owner only sees how many people follow it.
What isn’t allowed
- Anything that shows or puts children at risk. We remove it at once, close the account and report it to the authorities, as the law requires.
- Hate, bullying or harassment of a person or a group.
- Threats, violence or gory pictures.
- Nudity and sexual content. Channels for adults only aren’t allowed unless we switch them on, and they never show on the web or in search.
- Scams, fake giveaways, spam and links to harmful sites.
- Pretending to be someone else, or a name that copies a brand or a verified channel.
- Selling or promoting anything illegal.
- Sharing someone’s private details or pictures without their permission.
How posts are checked
Every post is checked before it shows: words, links, pictures and videos. Pictures are checked on our own server and never sent to another company.
Some posts wait until a person at NotiSpark looks at them. Swear words may be hidden with stars or covered with “Strong language” until someone taps to read them. Pictures that may upset people are blurred until someone taps to view them.
Reporting a post or channel
Anyone can report a post or a whole channel with the Report link, in the app or on the web. The owner never learns who reported it.
When several people report the same post, it’s hidden until a person at NotiSpark looks at it.
When a rule is broken
- The post is held or removed, and the owner sees why.
- The owner may get a warning. Several warnings pause posting for a while.
- A channel can be taken off the web or removed.
- Serious or repeated problems close the account.
Owners can ask once for a review if they think we got it wrong. A person reads every review.
Age
You need to be at least 13 to use channels (older where the law asks for it). The app asks once before you follow or make a channel.
Privacy on channel pages
Channel pages on the web set no cookies and don’t track you. We only count how many visits each channel gets per day, as one total number.
